The electrical, electronic, and automotive sectors are at the heart of a deep technological change affecting our companies. Renewable energies, green transformation, eco-sustainable infrastructures, platforms for digitization, will all be the enabling factors for the success of our products in the next future. To accelerate this transformation process, we deemed it necessary activating synergies aimed to a fitting answer to these challenging needs.

It is on this basis that we inform you that EGM Group and KME Italy have launched a project to give life to a new company that will take the name of ILNOR, a brand that has always been known and appreciated for the product quality and the excellence of the service offered to customers.

For this reason, all the activities of EGM Rolled Products Division (located in the Brescia plant) will be developed in synergy by the two companies that will pool technical, production and distribution resources to offer to the international supply chains industrial solutions which can satisfy an increasingly competitive landscape. The potential of the Brescia site will constitute a strategic hub for all the activities of the two historical brands.

The new ILNOR, as well as all the activities and structures connected to it, will operate in continuity with those of the EGM Rolled Products Division, both from a production and a commercial point of view. The aim is to bring quick, optimized and innovative offers and solutions to the market thanks to this joint development. ILNOR will operate on the market as an independent company.

With this new and ambitious alignment, EGM and KME, two historic brands and strong entrepreneurial cultures, coming together, will create one of the new leaders of the next era of sustainable mobility, renewable energy, and all those cutting-edge technologies where copper and its alloys play an increasingly important role.
